International Workshop on Seismo-Electromagnetics and Space Science(IWSE-SS 2000) 19-21 December, 2001

An International Workshop on Seismo-Electromagnetics and Space Science was organized by Department of Physics, RBS College Agra during 19-21 December, 2001. The basic purpose of organizing this workshop was discussing the problem of earthquakes and its prediction based on electromagnetic technique. For this purpose noted seismologist, atmospheric and radio scientist, and research workers from other areas of science and technology were invited. The one of the objectives was also to stimulate interest in this area among younger scientist of the country so that many more stations may be created for extensive research in this field.more...

International Workshop on Electromagnetic Studies related to Earthquakes and Volcanoes (IWEMSEV2006) 20-22 November, 2006

An International workshop on Electromagnetic Studies related to Earthquakes and Volcanoes (IWEMSEV-2006) was organized by the Department of electronics and communication engineering of the Faculty of engineering and technology, R.B.S. College, Agra during 20-22 November, 2006. The venue of the workshop was hotel Holiday Inn, Agra. About 100 participants including 22 foreigner and 78 Indians attended the workshop. The foreign scientists came from USA, Japan, Russia, France, Kazakhstan, and Greece, whereas Indian participants came from all parts of the country, i.e. from, Visakhapatnam to Jammu, and from, Mumbai to Guwahati. About 95 abstracts were received out of which 80 were presented in oral and poster sessions of the workshop. more...

An International workshop on Seismo-Electromagnetics and Atmospheric Science (IWSE-AS 2010) was organized by the Department of Physics of the Faculty of engineering and technology, R.B.S. College, Bichpuri, Agra during 16-18 November, 2010. The venue of the workshop was hotel Marina (formerly Holiday Inn) and Faculty of Engineering and Technology, R.B.S. College, at Bichpuri, Agra. About 82 participants including 11 foreigners and 71 Indians attended the workshop. The foreign scientists came from Japan, Russia, Taiwan, Kazakhstan and China whereas Indian participants came from all parts of the country, i.e. from, Visakhapattanam to Jammu, and from, Mumbai to Guwhati. About 100 abstracts were received out of which 80 were presented in oral and poster sessions of the workshop. more...
